A weekend packed with premier league action

The English Premier League returns following the international break, with the Merseyside Derby taking centre stage on Saturday.

Liverpool hop across Stanley Park to take on city rivals Everton at Goodison Park in the lunchtime kick off, with the hosts top of the EPL after securing four wins from their first four fixtures.

The Reds’ unbelievable 7-2 thrashing at the hands of Aston Villa a fortnight ago ruined their perfect start.

Big names are all over the place on Saturday, with Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola being reunited as Arsenal travel to play Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester United are back under the microscope as they take on Newcastle under the Saturday night lights at St James’ Park.

Chelsea, meanwhile, host Southampton at Stamford Bridge in the fourth match on Saturday.

A London derby takes centre stage on Sunday, as Tottenham clash with West Ham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

They go toe-to-toe following another rival clash in the capital, with Brighton heading up from the coast to do battle with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Another tasty tussle sees Leicester host Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium on Sunday evening. Sheffield United kick off Sunday’s action as they host ailing Fulham at Bramall Lane.

Monday sees Wolves play Leeds at Elland Road, while West Brom welcome Burnley to The Hawthorns
